iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘Saint Mary’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode of the historical series ‘Saint Mary’ on Monday night.

The final episode of the series, produced by Hassan Ali-Akbari and written and directed by Shahriyar Bahrani, will be aired on January 2, 2023, at 23:00 GMT.

Saint Mary, the mother of Jesus, is one of the most cherished holy figures for Muslims. She is the symbol of purity and fortitude. To celebrate her life, this series paints a picture of her in the fashion Islam portrays her.

Notable on the cast list are Shabnam Qolikhani, Mahtab Keramati, Jafar Dehqan, the late Parviz Pour-Hosseini, Mehdi Faqih, Reza Tavakkoli, Fakhreddin Seddiq-Sharif, Kourosh Tahami, Hossein Yari, Roya Teymourian, Shirin Bina, and Mohammad Kasbi.

‘Saint Mary’, produced in 2000, will be replaced by ‘Prophet Joseph’ made by the late Farajollah Salahshour.
